About the scholarship
All Australian students who wish to study their research degree from the USA are encouraged to apply. Candidates who wish to obtain a master’s or doctoral degree in the United States have a valuable opportunity. The fully funded Fulbright scholarship is available to students to study in the USA for free for the academic session 2022-23.
The organization activates this free education program for Australian citizens and is intended to support graduate and postdoctoral programs or professional researchers in the United States.

Postgraduate studies in the USA. Details of the expenses covered are given below:
A monthly stipend or stipend based on the cost of living in the host institution’s city (for postgraduate/post-doctoral scholarships)
A round-trip economy class ticket directly to and from the city in which the scholar lives and the city of the host institution
Incorporation allowance – if any
Dependents allowance – if any
Health and Accident Insurance (ASPE) – up to $100,000 (researcher only)

Eligibility criteria:
Applicants must be Australian citizens (by birth or by nature)
Applicants cannot hold dual US-Australian citizenship or US permanent residence (green card)
Applicants must be residing in Australia at the time of application (exception: applicants serving in the Armed Forces overseas, Australian diplomats residing overseas) Applicants who were on leave/working at the time of application, you can also apply now.
Australian applicants applying for this course, if successful, begin their program between August 1, 2023 and May 31, 2024.
Applicants must have completed an undergraduate degree or equivalent at the time of application. Postgraduate applicants will also be eligible
