The University of Saxony is proud to offer numerous scholarships to international students to help them fund their studies in the Netherlands.

These scholarships are for talented international students who wish to apply for a bachelor’s or master’s program at Saxion.

Scholarship programs available for the 2022-2023 academic year
Grant the Netherlands HS:

This grant is for outstanding and very talented international students from countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who are applying
For a bachelor’s or master’s degree in the Netherlands.

Saxion Talent Grant STS:

This grant is offered to talented students who wish to apply for a bachelor’s degree program. All bachelor’s programs are eligible for this scholarship.

Orange Tulip OTS Grant:

This program is intended for scholarship candidates from Brazil, China, Indonesia, Korea, Mexico, Russia, Vietnam, South Africa and India, and is offered as a partial waiver.

Saxion Excellent SES Grant:

Scholarship for current Saxon students who show excellent performance and who have passed the first year of the bachelor’s program. The scholarship will be awarded to continue studying in the next school year (second, third or fourth year) at Saxeon UAS.

Eligibility criteria:

Your nationality is from outside the EU/EEA and pays full institutional tuition fees;

Netherlands HS Grants:

First, you must be a citizen of a non-EU/EEA country and eligible to pay full institutional tuition fees
Secondly, first applicants must apply for a full-time bachelor’s degree, master’s degree in applied nanotechnology or the development of the main innovative fabric.

Thirdly, you must meet the specific admission requirements for the study programme of your choice. In addition, applicants must not be recipients of any other scholarship for the same school year and study programme.
Moreover, you must have achieved an 80% or higher rate in your previous education
Applicants must meet the 0.7 IELTS exam or higher or the equivalent of the IELTS exam

Saxion Talent Grant STS:

You must be a citizen of a non-EU/EEA country
and eligible to pay full institutional tuition fees.
You must meet the specific admission requirements of your study program.
Applicants should not be recipients of any other scholarship for the same school year and study program.
You must have got a rate of 70% or higher in your previous
education applicants must meet the 0.6 IELTS exam or higher or the equivalent of IELTS.

ORANGE TULIP OTS GRANT:

It should be one of the following countries: Brazil,
China, Indonesia, Korea, Mexico, Russia, Vietnam, South Africa and India must apply for a full-time bachelor’s program.
You must meet the specific admission requirements of your study program.
Applicants should not be recipients of any other scholarship for the same school year and study program.
Applicants must have obtained an 80%
or higher rate in previous education applicants must meet the 0.7 IELTS exam or higher or the equivalent of the IELTS exam

SAXION EXCELLENT SES GRANT:

You must be a citizen of a non-EU/EEA country
who is eligible to pay full institutional tuition fees and applicants must participate in a full-time bachelor’s program in Saxony.
You should plan to continue your course in Saxeon (second, third and 4th years).)
Applicants must have achieved an average score of 0.7 or higher according to your bison log copy.

First, applicants for the STS Talent Saxion grant and the Netherlands HS grant will apply through the Saxion app portal at the time of submitting your application for your program.
Secondly, if you are applying for the OTS Grant (Tulip Orange), you must apply from your
country’s website. The grant is funded by
the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science as well as several Dutch research universities and universities of applied sciences.
