Scholars earn a fellowship for up to three years of education, depending on their degree.
Students receive a stipend to cover living and academic expenses
and a travel stipend for one annual trip to and from Stanford.

Eligibility criteria:
There are two basic eligibility requirements:
First, in addition to applying to Knight-Hennessy Scholars (KHS), you must apply, have accepted before, and be enrolled in a full-time graduate degree program at Stanford University.
Second, you must have obtained, in January 2016 or later, a U.S. bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a college or university of recognized standing. To apply to join the group in 2022, you must have obtained a Bachelor’s degree by January 2015 or later; To apply to join the group in 2023, you must have obtained a bachelor’s degree by January 2016 or later.
