THE JAPANESE GOVERNMENT ANNUALLY GRANTS A LARGE NUMBER OF SCHOLARSHIPS TO INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS. ONE OF THESE AWARDS IS THE ROTARY UNIAMA SCHOLARSHIP. ONLY INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS ARE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY FOR THIS GRANT. IT IS A PARTIALLY FUNDED GRANT COVERING MOST OF THE COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH STUDYING IN JAPAN. IF THE LAST YEAR OF EDUCATION IS IN ENGLISH, THE IELTS EXAM IS NOT NECESSARY FOR THIS GRANT. ONLY STUDENTS WHOSE PREVIOUS COURSE WAS NOT IN ENGLISH ARE REQUIRED TO TAKE AN ENGLISH TEST. undergraduate students must submit a copy of their application for admission to the university/graduate school.

applicants at the graduate school must submit a letter of recommendation from a supervisor or professor at the applicant’s selected graduate school.

qualified persons are scheduled to be notified by the end of march 2022.
* if the application is refused at the scholarship university/graduate school, the applicant will not be eligible for the scholarship.
