About the scholarship
The main objective of the program is to further internationalize higher education and Polish
scientific institutions. Selected participants in the program will spend 6 to 24 months fully
funded, conducting research in Polish institutions.
Applicants for the program are usually foreign scientists of any age, who have successfully
completed at least a Ph.D. This program gives them the opportunity to visit Poland and
enhance their scientific potential as well as the potential of Polish entities, and to participate
in various scientific activities including research and educational projects.
The program provides funding for a scholarship covering the living allowance of a foreign
scientist during your scientific visit to Poland, which may last from 6 to 24 months. Applicants
must have a doctoral degree and/or currently work in a foreign educational institution or
research/scientific center.

Funding:
If you apply for this grant and you are selected, you will be eligible for the following benefits.
You will receive a living allowance of 10000 Polish zlotys per month for each entire month of
the fellow’s stay in the host institution.
An additional 2,000 Polish zlotys per month will be awarded in case you travel with your wife
to Poland to participate in the program.
The program will also give you an additional 1,000 Polish zloty per month for every minor
you travel with while you stay in Poland.
You will receive an additional 5,500 Polish zloty if you decide to participate in the Polish
language course.
Fellows you will receive a one-time transfer allowance of 7,500 Polish zlotych for applicants
from European countries, with an additional 2,000 Polish zloty for each person, spouse or
minor child accompanying the fellow.
Applicants from non-European countries will receive a one-time transfer allowance of 1200
Polish zlotys with an additional 500 Polish zlotys per person, spouse, or minor child
accompanying the fellow

Eligibility requirements
Applicants from States outside the European Union and States of the European Union are
invited to apply for the program
You must be an individual scientist with a doctoral degree awarded in a country, other than
Poland.
Applicants must be primarily non-Polish citizens if their participation in the program is to
be considered.
Polish citizens who work permanently abroad can apply for the program, but the quota
allocated as part of the total number of fellows must not exceed 10%.
You should apply for your research in any scientific field.
You must not have studied or operated in Poland within 3 years before the deadline for
submission of the application.

How to Submit
interested applicants must first apply for a fellowship/research position at a Polish institution
to cover 6 to 24 months in any scientific field. You must request an invitation letter, where
this will be required when applying for the grant.
Your grant application will be submitted online using the detailed submission portal
A scientific biography of the applicant according to the application form.
Doctoral degree and degree surveys as evidence of your doctorate. Include official
translations in English if the original versions are not released in English or Polish.
You should include attach proof of employment to a foreign higher education institution. or a
foreign scientific/research center issued by the Human Resources Department
Include a copy of an invitation from the host institution in Poland, where you intend to carry
out your fellowship.
