you should be aware of the need for applicants to receive their own set of materials in person (applicants are not currently allowed to assign someone else to receive the e-residence group on their behalf). the collection can only be received by the person whose name is registered in the e-residence application in estonia.

when you receive your collection in person, you will be asked to submit your biometric data (fingerprints). in addition, when you receive your collection, you will be asked to provide the same id card you used to prove your identity during your application. failure to provide the same identity (even if you provide another valid proof of identity) will result in you refusing to hand over the collection.

please keep in mind that once you send your electronic accommodation kit to the receiving point, you will have 6 months to receive it before it expires and the government will actually destroy it. if you fail to get your collection within the permitted time, you must start applying for electronic accommodation again. (please note that due to the current disruption in travel due to the cov pandemic, you may be allowed to receive your collection after the traditional six-month period without being destroyed.)
