required eligibility
in order to apply, you must fill out the following application terms in full:

applicants must be foreign students (outside the eu) who wish to study at the university of st andrews.

you must apply for a bachelor’s degree and must be involved in 2022.
-
applicants can apply for any degree program under subjects except medicine.

the grant is only available to students entering the first year of bachelor’s degree (this includes direct entry into the second year of the course).

applicants must be talented students with academic excellence.
-
successful scientists are expected to play an ambassador’s role and represent the university at a number of events.

you must submit a motivation statement to support your application with up to 250 words. this should include reasons to apply for the grant, explain how you expect to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the award and describe how you think you might contribute to the community while studying at the university of st andrews.

applicants must first apply for admission to a new course starting in the 2022-2023 school year, after which they will have access to the scholarship and funding department through my application. this grant is only available for progress through scholarships and funding
please note that after applying for your chosen course from the 2022-2023 school year, you must allow at least two working days to process and issue your login details before you can apply for this grant. you’ll need to download the following documents as well.

you will be asked to download a personal letter of recommendation as well as an academic letter of recommendation

each letter should not exceed 200 words

the academic reference can be from a teacher, university consultant, or someone who knows your academic abilities well.
