Clarendon Grants is a master scheme for graduate grants at Oxford University and offers about 140 new scholarships each year. Clarendon scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic excellence and potential in all postgraduate subjects at Oxford University.

All Clarendon scholarships cover tuition and college fees in full.

Students receive a generous annual cost-of-living grant – which will be at least £15,009 for 2020-21. Researchers in a part-time course will receive a study support grant, to help with unpaid costs. Researchers in a part-time course will receive a study support grant, to help with unpaid costs. In 2020-21, part-time DPhil researchers should expect to receive at least £2,502 and part-time master’s scientists must expect at least £5,003.

how to apply
If you apply for a full-time or part-time Master’s or DPhil course at Oxford by the January deadline for your course, you will automatically be considered for the Clarendon Scholarship. You don’t need to provide any additional clarendon scholarship documents – there is no separate application form for the scholarship. However, you need to apply before the January deadline (January 7 or 21, 2022) for your course if you would like to consider the scholarship.
