APPLICATIONS FOR THE IELTS 2022 BRITISH COUNCIL AWARD ARE NOW OPEN. THE BRITISH COUNCIL’S IELTS AWARDS GIVE APPLICANTS THE OPPORTUNITY TO RECEIVE UP TO £10,000 TO FUND THEIR STUDIES AROUND THE WORLD. THE BRITISH COUNCIL ESTABLISHED THE IELTS AWARD WITH THE MAIN AIM OF HELPING HIGHLY QUALIFIED INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE SHOWN A STRONG MOTIVATION TO DEVELOP THEIR CAREERS AND POTENTIAL TO CONTRIBUTE TO SOCIETY THROUGH THEIR STUDIES. FOUNDED IN 1934 AND INCORPORATED BY THE ROYAL CHARTER IN 1940, INTERNATIONAL CULTURAL RELATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES UK WORKS WITH MORE THAN 100 COUNTRIES AROUND THE WORLD IN THE FIELDS OF ARTS, CULTURE, ENGLISH, EDUCATION AND CIVIL SOCIETY

SELECTED APPLICANTS WILL RECEIVE THE BRITISH COUNCIL IELTS AWARD WORTH BETWEEN £3,000 AND £10,000

the size of the prize depends on the tuition fees of the organization you wish to join and must go to cover the cost of tuition fees for your chosen program
-
if a successful candidate’s tuition fees are below the individual prize fund limit of £10,000, the remaining funds may be allocated to support other runners-up.

you must be over the age of 18 by july 31, 2022 in order to apply

APPLICANTS MUST HAVE TAKEN THE IELTS TEST AT THE BRITISH COUNCIL CENTRE IN GERMANY AND OBTAINED AN OFFICIAL TEST REPORT FORM (TRF)

the test must have been carried out between june 1, 2021 and june 10, 2022 and was issued by the british council in germany.

CANDIDATES MUST HAVE ACHIEVED A MINIMUM TOTAL RANGE SCORE OF 6.5, PLUS A SCORE OF AT LEAST 6.5 PER OF THE FOUR COMPONENTS OF THE IELTS TEST

you should plan to enroll in the 2022-2023 school year from august 2022.

APPLICANTS SHOULD BE INTERESTED IN STUDYING IN A FULL-TIME UNIVERSITY OR POSTGRADUATE PROGRAM THAT TEACHES IN ENGLISH AT THE UNIVERSITY. UNIVERSITIES MAY BE IN GERMANY OR ABROAD BUT IELTS MUST BE ACCEPTED AS PART OF ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS.

APPLICANTS MUST HAVE TAKEN OR IF NOT, THEY MUST TAKE THE IELTS TEST AT A BRITISH COUNCIL-ACCREDITED CENTRE IN GERMANY. YOU MUST RECEIVE AN OFFICIAL TEST REPORT FORM (TRF) AND MUST BE DATED BETWEEN JUNE 1, 2021. JUNE 10, 2022, ISSUED BY THE BRITISH COUNCIL IN GERMANY. ONLY TFF REPORTS FROM THE BRITISH COUNCIL IN GERMANY WILL BE ACCEPTED.
YOU MUST THEN FILL OUT THE APPLICATION FORM ONLINE AND SUBMIT IT BY THE JUNE 30, 2022 DEADLINE. IF YOU ARE SELECTED FOR THE AWARD, YOU MUST BE PREPARED AND DEMONSTRATE A COMMITMENT TO COMMUNICATION WITHIN THE IELTS COMMUNITY. SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH OTHER IELTS CANDIDATES.
