About the scholarship
The Humphrey Fellowship Program is intended for experienced professionals interested in strengthening their leadership skills through mutual exchange of knowledge and understanding about issues of common interest in the United States and other countries.
Participants are placed in one of the participating USA universities. Fellows cannot choose which university they will study at. Instead, they are assigned in various groups of 7-15 to the most suitable host institution based on their area of interest and professional field

Funding:
The fellowship provides the following:
• Pay tuition fees at the designated host university.
• Pre-academic English training, if required.
• a maintenance (living) allowance, including a one-time settlement allowance;
• Accident and sickness coverage.
• Book allowance.
• One-time computer aid.
• Air travel (international travel to and from the United States for the program and domestic travel to attend required program events);
• Professional development allowance for professional activities, such as field trips, professional visits, and conferences.

Eligibility requirements
The applicant must have:
• University degree.
• At least five years of full-time professional experience
• Limited or no experience in the United States.
• Demonstrate leadership qualities,
• Public service record in the community.
• Proficiency in the English language
