About the scholarship

The RTP scholarships are available to both domestic and foreign students who are enrolled in an accredited HDR course. All international students from around the world are eligible to pursue a master’s degree or a PhD degree from Australia under the AGRTP International Scholarship. The Australian Government Research Training Program (RTP) is a fully funded scholarship for the 2022-23 academic session.

Scholarships are available for all academic fields and disciplines to undertake postgraduate degree programmes. The Australian Government Scholarship is available for Engineering, Computer, Mathematical Sciences, Health Sciences, Arts, Professions and Science. The scholarship will cover all expenses.

More than 40 Australian universities participate in the RTP programme. All the universities are well rated in the world by their good management and teaching methods. These are well-known research universities.

Salary: Annual living allowance of AUD$28,854 (tax free, valued at 2022) for up to 2 years for a Research Master’s degree, and up to 3 years for a Research Doctorate.
Full tuition fees for masters up to 2 years and for doctoral degrees up to 4 years.
Medical funds (paid sick leave).
Health coverage for foreign students
Airfare allowance ($1,000 for travel from their home country to/from Adelaide.
